Yesterday, Zarrab’s defense lawyer Benjamin Brafman wrote a letter to Judge to argue that since these two new additions will not appear in Court and, accordingly, a hearing is no required.

An Iranian-born Turkish businessman Reza Zarrab has been arrested in Florida March of 2016 on charges that he and others conspired to conduct hundreds of millions of dollars in financial transactions for the Iranian government or other entities to evade U.S. sanctions.
Zarrab’s dealings turned out to be tied to many Turkish officials, including 4 Turkish ministers that had to resign at the end of 2013.
